The Clockwork Elves could be a pyschotropic exploration of spirituality and death - or it could be a tale of a little goofball hopped up on goofballs. Either way - it's a cartoon.

On the first day of the Covid-19 lockdown 4 friends hung out on a video chat. That chat somehow turned into a Nightly-Online-Queer-Dance-Party with over 60,000 followers from all corners of the world. 2020 has been full of uncertainty, but one thing's for sure... Covid can't keep a good Kween down!  This film was made 100% remotely. All interviews, editing, animation, music and sound design was completed while everyone worked in isolation at home. Dry Out

Dry Out

Life needs water. But this fluid tends to evaporate over time into a gaseous state. Drying out is a chemical process that takes hours, days or even weeks. Without enough water the organisms metabolism is stopping. Using high resolution cameras with macro-lenses or the microscope, i timelapsed more than hundred sequences of various organic motives which were drying out. The visual aesthetics and drama of these transformations captivated me. That's why I searched for the best scenes and moments to create this Shortfilm. A film by Christian Stangl Music composed by my brother Wolfgang aka meercrob. Vocals by Alexandra Grandl Timelapse-Software Development: Mario Zeller Produced in 4K UHD Selection of still-frames: https://ift.tt/3mHdzmp No non-microbial animals were harmed in this video.

KORUA Shapes – RAIN DOGS

KORUA Shapes – RAIN DOGS

«RAIN DOGS» is a reference to Washington State’s “finest” Rainier Beer, which kept us hydrated during our road trip through the PNW in February of 2020 BC (Before Covid). It’s also a slight hint to the predominantly moist weather we experienced on our visit State-side. A trip where our rental car smelled like a pack of wet dogs 24/7, and even with rain so persistent it could soak through the toughest of Gore-Tex, it could not dampen our spirits or stop our mission to film Yearning For Turning in the Pacific North West. We had an absolute blast navigating the slopes of Baker, Crystal and Bachelor, linking turns on every type of snow imaginable, making new friends in the lift lines and down at the pub, eating ?-day-old pizza from the tailgate in the parking lot, and drinking a couple «Rain Dogs» here and there. Collectively we tried our best to capture our turns in new surroundings, and are pretty darn surprised and happy with the outcome. Hope y’all enjoy it too! His grandson’s birthday is coming up, and it’s his last possibility of reconciliation. Nothing must go wrong. She seeks out Steen as her last resort, and he is then confronted by the choice of helping another family at the expense of his own.

The island

The island

the island 3 weeks. The time given to me was 3 weeks. For someone, it will be short if it is short and long if it is long. While working, I wanted to say 'I wish I had more days off' But since I was given three weeks, I didn't know what to do. I just headed to the island. There was nothing special to do. There was nothing that i have to. No plan was my plan. After hearing my brother's words, I just decided to walk the Olle road the next day. I walked the Olle road closest to the place where I am now and recorded the process of the road in a video. A black stone with a hole was created by the island people to live, not for beauty. As the symbol of the island, a Dolhareubang that from their faith, from their lives becames the best artwork. It's not like that. A quiet Jeju island is not quiet. It just looks quiet.

Jesper Ryom - Nights (official music video)

Jesper Ryom - Nights (official music video)

I sometimes send a message to people who inspire me, like Jesper Ryom. A casual facebook message, what could possible come from that...? Well; I’m very proud to have directed the music video for "Nights", a new track by Jesper Ryom. I was over the moon to get awesome teammate Sofie Lee to help out with design. Together we worked days and nights to create this audio visual journey. The story; In a time of self isolation we reflect on our past. In a time of being inside, what more do we crave then running outside and enjoying vast horizons and nature, like a child. In Russia - в России

In Russia - в России

A landmass so vast it’s hard to wrap your head around, spanning over 11 timezones and 2 continents, filled with otherworldly landscapes, countless discrete cultures and crowded cities with rather turbulent histories. On the one side, this film shows a slice of this relentless diversity of a place rarely visited by tourists - and on the other, it is an exploration of all the different lenses, viewpoints and expectations one can apply in a travel film about a mysterious country riddled with stereotypes. Find extra footage, BTS and more info at www.27km.de/inrussia and on our Instagram channels: @vincenturban, @muxsux, @timhoeddinghaus, @27km For this film, I teamed up with my friends Maximilian Neumeier and Tim Höddinghaus. The 3 of us went on a total of 4 trips, each spanning over roughly 10 days, which brought us to 6 distinct locations in 3 different seasons: Moscow in spring, Kamchatka in fall, St. Petersburg, Murmansk, Salekhard and Lake Baikal in Winter. This project could have never been realised without the help of the production company 27km, our local guides Andrey Manirko, Vadim Makhorov and the countless other people who helped on-location in Russia and in postproduction back in Germany. It has been a very long journey and we are forever grateful. DEEP DOWN - Maciek Janicki

DEEP DOWN - Maciek Janicki

Deep Down is a new song and short film by Maciek Janicki. A man materializes in a foreign world and begins his journey walking towards the center of a fantastical city. The architecture lies somewhere between modern San Francisco and a 70’s dream of the future. Pipes, pumps and cables, like veins, flow through the city. Bold colors, solid shapes and rhythmical movements create hallucinogenic visuals. The entire fabric of the city is made from vibrating and pulsating elements. The film is one big sonic sculpture. Dublin is a city in the midst of a property development boom and with the gentrification of the inner city, working-class horse culture is being marginalised. It’s something quite unique to the city and likely won’t exist in fifteen years. The media only ever shows a negative side of the culture as there have been many issues with welfare in the city since the mass over-breeding of the early nineties. This film takes a snapshot of some of the men who genuinely care about their horses as they struggle to keep the remnants of the culture alive. This film premiered on Nowness in October. B.A.S.E - a winguit and FPV performance

This is a true performance from both FPV Pilote (Feuillie Colas) and Wingsuiter (Vincent Cotte). A brief moment somewhere else, weightlessness. Here some words of Colas " Quite some work to reach this goal... a lot of development on the machines, a lot of learning on how to fly with the amazing Vincent Cotte, one of the best wingsuiter out there, a lot of hiking... And a good dose of stress and focus :) !!" Drone Pilot : Feuillie Colas, from Cola FPV Wingsuit : Vincent Cotte Edit : Olivier SAUTET

ILHAN ERSAHIN'S ISTANBUL SESSIONS "Hurri-Mitanni (Güzel Haber)" [official video]

ILHAN ERSAHIN'S ISTANBUL SESSIONS "Hurri-Mitanni (Güzel Haber)" [official video]

- Gökalp Gönen Director's Statement A group of anonymous wandering the streets. Everywhere is very crowded but identities are very few. Trying to be someone is as difficult as writing your name on the waves left by this fast-moving giant ship. Everyone is everyone and everyone is nobody anymore. This silence could only exist through glowing screens, even if it found itself nooks. On those loud screens, they reminded who actually had the power by entering the places that were said to be inaccessible. But they didn't even care about this power. The areas where we had passionate conversations about it for days were a "now like this" place for us, but they looked like this to say "no, it was actually like that" but they did not speak much. They had the charm of a cat. When they said, "Look, it was like this," they became part of everything that made it "like this" and became unnoticeable like paving stones. They just wanted to have a little fun, to be able to live a few years without worry. In five minutes, fifteen seconds at most, they existed and left. - Gökalp Gönen "Hurri-Mitanni (Güzel Haber)" being the first single of Ilhan Ersahin's Istanbul Sessions' new album "Bir Zamanlar Şimdi", is crowned with this fantastic video created by young talented director Gökalp Gönen. Ilhan Ersahin's Istanbul Sessions, the genuine quartet of the eurasia, melt their original sound with modern jazz forms, eastern beats and spices. The band’s 5th studio album is co-produced and recorded by Grammy awarded Italian producer Tommaso Colliva. Richard Permin - Chroniques d’hiver | freeride skiing and behind the scene documentary

Richard Permin - Chroniques d’hiver | freeride skiing and behind the scene documentary

— US — For more than 10 years, Richard Permin (freeride skier) has traveled the world in winter to bring back the most beautiful images possible. 10 years living in the shadows and focusing only on performance. Since 2016 he has been working with Maxime Moulin (director) and after two big projects (Good Morning and Fastwood), it was time to do things differently, it was time to take advantage. This year they have started a new project, that of delivering live images on social networks. To share a lot more. This film is about this experience and tells about the life of a skier hunter of images. It is a film made by enthusiasts and is aimed at lovers of skiing and image. An inspiring testimony.
